King’s College London, with the support of the Camões - Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, Portugal, invites applications for the temporary position of Visiting Scholar for the academic year 2014/15. Applicants should hold a doctorate in any field of Humanities or Social Sciences.
The scholar will be at King’s from the 19th January to the 20th March 2015. The purpose of the post is to support the activities of students in the area of Portuguese studies. The scholar will teach six seminar sessions (one hour each) on ‘Travel Writing in the Portuguese-Speaking World’.

The scholar will have a subvention in pounds corresponding to 9,000 euros at the moment of transfer. Travel costs, lodging and tax deduction are included in this subvention.
