Latest Developments
The 1st African Innovation Summit took place in the city of Praia on the 4th and 5th of February 2014. Its main purpose was to put innovation at the top of the development agenda in Africa and to make it a main instrument of competitiveness in African economies.
This initiative was attended by around 200 delegates from the public, private and university sectors from about 30 African countries. It sought to lay the foundations for dialogue between different entities in the area of innovation in Africa and to find African solutions to African problems.
It counted with €8,154 of Camões, I.P. funding in 2014, used for the acquisition of translation services, as expressly requested by the executor.
